The recordings on the CD's repeat the primary mating and territorial calls for the listed species of owls. The CD's are high quality CDR and are app. 60 minutes long. If the recordings are played in locations where owls are present and fairly close by the response time is usually less than 5 minutes.

Saw-whets are a bit difficult to call. They do not often respond vocally to the call as other owls do.
Watch for them in the understory as they sometimes approach close to the ground.
